The final countdown…

Things are getting wrapped up around here as my time here ticks by. This past week my friend Adrianne came out to my site to help with an HIV/AIDS workshop put on with my youth group in Juayua. This is my final grant for the entirety of my Peace Corps service!

As we head into the later part of November my community members are busy out in the coffee fields as coffee-picking season begins. This is a boring time of year for me, as the school closes, the Nutrition Center closes, and the community is busy working long days in the field. There isn’t much for me to do in my little house all alone, so I will be catching up on some reading probably, and watching a lot of movies. Maybe I’ll catch up on some paperwork I have been putting off and do some more job hunting…or maybe I will eat candy and lay in my hammock. Most likely the latter of the two…
