As part of my EWB (Engineers Without Borders) project, the team has mandated a very important scientific experiment to me. That is right…PCV is now synonymous with scientist! Okay, maybe that is a slight overstatement, but I really am running some official water testing here in the community. I have been taking water samples, preparing the water for testing, eye-dropping the correct amount on to Petrifilm squares and putting them in the incubator for 48 hours, and recording the bacteria observed to grow in the given time period.
