Lindsey´s last week and a half in August=enough to give a healthy person a heart attack.
Crazy week! Got back from Costa Rica the 19th, went from the airport directly to a training workshop. Went from workshop straight to my site to do a presentation Sunday afternoon. Monday was spent organizing the workshop supplies for the 3-day workshop Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday, was a PCV-sponsored musical presentation in Juayua which I did all the logistics for. Friday, bailed on the workshop to take some girls to the GLOW camp for the whole weekend. Finally got home again Sunday afternoon and passed out from exhaustion….

Workshop participants..the workshop was 3 days, all focusing on common illness prevention and how to work in the community to keep the people safe and healthy

Theater day in Juayua! This musical presentation was written by a PCV, but performed by Salvadoran actors...the script deals with a lot of issues faces youth: going to school, making plans for the future, relationships, etc.
Not the norm, I must say…the norm includes a lot more sleep and a lot more hammock time. But, overall, a very satisfying feeling knowing all the stuff on my plate has been completed and September is already here! SEPTEMBER IS HERE! That means 6 more months as a PCV! Time is winding down here, and I can´t wait to be back in a house with a bathroom and no rats!
