Below is a link to Martha Stewart (courtesy of a fellow PCV!) making pupusas….pupusas are a typical Salvadoran food. Here they are filled with a different kind of cheese, and are fried in LOTS more oil, but same idea…I eat these often. I can buy one for a 25 cents on the street. They are the ultimate Salvadoran food…El Salvador is the only place where these are made!
And FYI, I make a WAY better pupusa than Martha Stewart!
hey lindsey i saw this show on the food network called Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives and there was a woman there who cooked salvadoran food (she lives in US, i think it was in somewhere in the eastern area)and i thought it looked delicious and i was wondering if they are as good as they look and hope your liking El Salvador.
also i think that when you come home you should make Pupusas =)
